Management and Staff

The commitment, tenacity, and enthusiasm of our staff, management, and board hold Take Stock in Children together. With all of us functioning as a team, Take Stock in Children is able to have a significant impact on Students. Each member's tireless efforts on behalf of the Students, willingness to fight for their success and commitment to follow through on all of the details are critical elements of our on- going success. As a team, we have six mutual promises:

• Clear Direction: (1) working to have a complete understanding of the Take Stock in Children vision and mission, our individual roles and responsibilities, and how each of us contributes to our success and (2) asking for and receiving clear and timely communication of priorities, change, and anything else that affects each of our abilities to be successful.


• Preparation: ensuring that we have the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to fulfill our responsibilities, keep our promises to each of our stakeholders, and build a strong community presence.


• Unwavering Support: (1) holding ourselves and each other accountable for keeping the promises of Take Stock in Children and (2) providing each other with timely feedback on behavior, attitude, results, and how we can improve.


• Commitment: (1) doing what we say we will do (2) making, supporting, and implementing decisions that move Take Stock in Children forward.


• Citizenship: (1) living our vision by practicing our principles and keeping our promises, (2) being actively self- responsible for contributing to Take Stock in Children's present and future, and (3) asking for help before its too late.


• Involvement: (1) finding and doing what needs to be done, before being asked, (2) offering thoughtful solutions to problem and concerns, (3) continually looking for, acting on, ways to improve ourselves and Take Stock in Children , and (4) being active in Take Stock in Children and in the activities that move it forward.

Keeping these six promises ensures that we achieve our goal of being:
