Take Stock in Children is committed to the success of each and every student. Local program partners across the state work side by side with mentors, school officials, and parents to ensure that each student receives the highest quality of service throughout their middle and high school career. Take Stock in Children students excel academically and become leaders amongst their peers and in their communities.

Take Stock in Children mentors come from every walk of life, and each makes the commitment to meet with his or her student for one hour per week on school grounds.  With a focus on student success, mentors provide academic coaching, advice, support and, most of all, friendship.  Multi-year, one-on-one mentoring is the cornerstone of the Take Stock in Children program and as evidenced by the success of our studens, it pays large-scale dividends. 

Take Stock in Children's coporate and individual sponsors provide funds for scholarships and program services including mentor and student resources.  Our sponsors support Take Stock in Children year-after-year because they are committed to working within communities to stop the cycle of poverty and provide Florida's children with the opportunity to be successful in life.
