Education inequality is one of the ten root causes of generational poverty identified by the Florida Chamber. 829,342 Florida children are living in poverty, and half of those children live in 15% of Florida's zip code.

Help bring opportunity and prosperity to students and families across Florida by donating to Take Stock in Children today.

Invest in Florida's Future

By 2030, 80% of Florida’s 100 fastest-growing jobs will require postsecondary study. Take Stock helps students enter and complete college while also improving the future of Florida’s communities and economy. When you support Take Stock in Children, you are not only fighting the college completion crisis and directly impacting the lives of students in need, you are investing in Florida’s future.

Take Stock is one of the nation’s most well-established public-private partnerships. The state of Florida matches every private dollar raised by Take Stock in Children for scholarship purchases 1:1, so every $1 you invest becomes $2 in scholarship funding. The Take Stock organization has successfully graduated 37,000 students and invested $250,000,000 in scholarships in our students.

One investment today in Take Stock’s mentoring, college readiness, postsecondary completion, and scholarship program can bring us one step closer to ending poverty and changing a child’s life tomorrow.

Help students on their pathway out of poverty through education by supporting Take Stock in Children. When you donate $1,000 for a brick, you support Take Stock’s mission of breaking the cycle of poverty for low-income, underrepresented, academically qualified students by providing opportunities for degree attainment through postsecondary education. Leave your mark for future generations throughout Florida!

The Pave the Way Brick Campaign is a special way to:

  • Honor someone special
  • Give a meaningful gift to a friend or relative
  • Celebrate a special date
  • Recognize your family, company, or a loved one
  • Pay-it-forward to fellow Take Stock scholars as an alumnus of the program

Your brick, printed with a name of your choice, will help pave the way for student success in college, career, and life! You, your company, or the individual you choose to honor will receive a photo of the brick and certificate as a token of appreciation for your support.
