Alfonso Mejia attended Charles W. Flanagan High School in Broward County. He was a member of the National Honor Society earning a 4.93 GPA, served as Class President, and founding member of the Spanish National Honor Society. In 2012, Alfonso began his studies at the University of Florida majoring in finance with a minor in entrepreneurship. During his time at UF, he was involved within business school student organizations such as Florida Leadership Academy, Heavener Leadership Challenge, and the Undergraduate Consulting Club. Aside from campus involvement, Alfonso also studied and interned abroad in Madrid, Spain and was part of the Management Leadership for Tomorrow Career Prep Class of 2015, where he was able to secure internships with both Wells Fargo and Google.
Alfonso graduated cum laude from UF in 2016 and shortly after began his career at Google as an Associate Account Strategist in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he helped businesses make best use of the Google Ads product to increase revenue and awareness. Currently, Alfonso is now a Partner Operations Manager at YouTube in San Francisco, California where he works with the top Latin American/US Hispanic content partnerships as a solutions consultant.
