With a 3.44 unweighted GPA at Citrus High School, Avery has served as the Take Stock in Children Student Ambassador for the past five years and the Senior Squad Leader this school year. Through her involvement with the Air Force Jr. ROTC, she has experience as a Cadet Major, Color Guard NCIOC, Inspector General, and Corps Commander. Avery’s awards include the Celebrate Freedom, Air Commando Association, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars awards. Her activities revolve around her service in the Air Force Jr. ROTC, from cleanup crew to graduation setup. She has a passion for helping people and would love to study psychology at the University of South Florida, followed by Officer Training School to join the United States Air Force.
