Corey Smith was dually enrolled at Florida Southwestern College where he had a 4.87 GPA and was ranked 8th of 431 students in his class. Corey volunteered at the Lee Memorial Hospital in the Radiology / Oncology department as well as helped with their annual blood drive. He also helped to build homes with Habitat for Humanity, fed the homeless and participated in the Take Stock in Children STRIDES for Education 5K. He was involved with the JROTC program and on the JROTC Drill Team /Leadership Team, the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir and Youth Ministry. Corey was also a member of the National Honor Society and held office as Parliamentarian and Secretary. He attends Florida State University studying International Affairs and Public Health and plans to graduate in spring of 2021.
