Katty Pierre-Charles hails from Manatee County and graduated from Manatee High School. There she was a member of the MCSAC Youth Leadership Academy, Marching Band, JROTC, and a Teen Hospice volunteer. She was awarded the Bright House Youth Service Award and placed 1st in the Lockheed Martin Manatee Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Katty had a 4.5 GPA and graduated as an AP Scholar. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2018 and is currently working at I3 Microsystems in St. Petersburg, in the field of microelectronics. She enjoys giving back to the community by mentoring for Take Stock in Children.
