Leydializ Aviles 

Colonial High School  /  Orange County

Leydializ is a first-generation college student with a passion for animal science. Her love for animals shows in many aspects of her life.  She had a part-time job with a dog grooming business and has held several leading positions with the Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization.  She has served as an officer with the FAA Orlando chapter and has won many honors in Florida for exceptional livestock rearing.  Leydializ has completed the FAA Chapter Officer Leadership Training, has been a leader in a Women’s Ensemble Soprano section at school, and is a volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Her dream includes a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine after she completes her undergraduate studies in Animal Sciences / Food Animal Specialization at the University of Florida.
