Marie is attending Florida State University to study Finance. At Glades Central Community High School, with a weighted GPA of 5.2, she ranked #1 of 242 graduating class. In her senior year of high school, Marie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palm Beach State College with an AA degree. During high school, Marie was active with Student Government, Leadership Grow Palm Beach, teaching Sunday school and playing piano at First Haitian Baptist Church, as well as taking the role of principal for the First Haitian Baptist Church Youth & Development Center after-school program. Marie accumulated over 1300 community service volunteer hours. As a sophomore at FSU, she serves as a research assistant in the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). Her experience in the program has inspired Marie to begin training to become a UROP Leader in the Fall. She hopes to achieve her degree and give back to the community of Belle Glade someday.
