Mary Ling Green

Mary is from Marion County and graduated from Forest High School/Marion Technical Institute in 2016. She graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work in 2019, and recently her master’s in social work in Fall of 2020. Also, she has attained a certificate in Leadership in Executive and Administration Development in Spring of 2020. Currently, she is working in the field as a therapist with children in the K-12 school systems across three counties. Mary continues to raise guide dog puppies in training for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. She is on her fourth puppy, Parsnip. She is still actively working with youth with special needs with YoungLife Capernaum. She looks forward to traveling again soon as she has been to ten countries, including her study abroad in Australia during her undergraduate thanks to Leaders for Life! Fun fact: She and Hannah Kilbride, another 2016 fellow, were roommates for two years at FSU and remain close friends.
