Veronia was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Spruce Creek High School where she ranked 12th of the 557 seniors with a GPA of 4.72. At school she participated as a National Honor Society member, Spanish Honor Society, World Language Festival, Beta Club, Orchestra Solo and Ensemble and Key Club.
Veronia served as the vice president of the Orchestra Leadership Training and participated in the FUTURES Foundation for Volusia County’s Schools’ Tomorrow’s Leaders Program which inspired her to take on additional responsibility and gain new confidence. She loves to volunteer in the community as an intern at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, church, community clean up and works 10 hours per week at the Port Orange Public Library. Her dream college, the University of Florida, will be her new home in the fall to major in chemistry and eventually become a trauma surgeon.
