Suwannee High School / Suwannee County
At Suwannee High School, Zakk has a 3.81 unweighted GPA. His passion is leadership, and he calls it his legacy. He is a math tutor, a member of the Key Club, Beta Club, and Theatre Club. Zakk also serves at the Children’s Church and acts for Community Theatre. When Zakk isn’t at school, he works part-time at The Live Oak Gathering Restaurant as a host.
He sees mathematics as a safe space in a world of uncertainty. Numbers are constant, dependable, and logical, the exact opposite of life these days. Zakk hopes to become a math professor at a university or a secondary-level math teacher. His dream is to attain a master’s degree in educational leadership. Zakk will graduate from high school with his AA degree from North Florida College and hopes to attend the University of Florida or Florida State University.
