The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc. hosted its Take Stock in Children Mentor Appreciation ceremony this month, celebrating the incredible individuals who dedicate their time and energy to guiding and inspiring Lee County students.
“We are deeply grateful for the mentors who make a lasting impact, fostering personal growth and academic success and building a strong foundation for the leaders of tomorrow.”
“We were also thrilled to congratulate Rhonda Dahlin, our Mentor of the Year, for her unwavering dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of students. Rhonda has provided invaluable guidance, support, and encouragement, helping her mentee navigate challenges and find success. Her care and commitment have truly transformed the mentorship experience.”
One of Rhonda’s mentees, Caroline Papa, beautifully expressed the profound difference Rhonda has made: “Thank you, Ms. Rhonda, for all that you’ve done for me! You are definitely making a difference in so many lives, and your presence brings about so much positivity.” Rhonda’s heart for mentorship is an inspiring testament to the incredible role the mentor plays in shaping the future of the Lee County community.
Take Stock Lee continued, “Mentorship plays a vital role in shaping young minds, offering guidance, encouragement, and a sense of purpose. With the support of mentors like Rhonda, students gain confidence, learn essential life skills, and develop resilience in the face of challenges. Together, we are making a difference and empowering the next generation to reach their full potential.”
