To celebrate First-Generation Week, we sat down with several leaders from Florida State University’s CARE program to discuss success tips for all first-gen college students.
The “Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE) provides preparation, orientation, and academic support programming for students who are among the first in their family to attend college and may face unique challenges in college because of educational or economic circumstances.” For more information, visit www.care.fsu.edu.
Special thanks to Tatianna Duperier, Adarius Simpkins, and Dr. Deonte Brown for joining our host D’Vodrek Ponder, for this special roundtable!
