Take Stock Escambia student completes the 2024 Sheriff’s Blazer Academy

News via Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Take Stock Escambia student Cameron H. was one of the graduating students from the second 2024 Sheriff’s Blazer Academy! Cameron was among a cohort of young men who spent six weeks developing lifelong skills and instruction on many topics, such as courtesy, responsibility, empowerment, and respect. They learned how to give a proper handshake, put on a tie, present themselves, and much, much more.

They celebrated their successes in October as Sheriff Chip W. Simmons presented them with their completion certificates at a graduation ceremony held at the Saenger Theatre.

After the ceremony, the graduates had a celebratory dinner at The Global Grill, where they made a toast to completing the academy and their futures!

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has gotten to know each one of the young men who attended the academy. We could not be more proud of them! The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office thanks the Escambia County Sheriff Foundation, The Saenger Theatre, Bere’ Jewelers, Zoghby’s Uniforms, Loyalty Credit Union, The Global Grill, Chad Mattson, and Hassan Hills. Congratulations Cameron!
