Take Stock in Children's model has been proven effective in ensuring students:
- Graduate high school - 96% of our students complete on-time.
- Enter college - 96% of our 2014 class entered a two or four-year program according to our independent US Department of Education i3 Evaluation.
- Are ready for higher education - The same i3 evaluation showed 85% of our students needed no remediation of any kind.
- Complete college - Our student data system shows 67% of our students complete college compared to the state average of 25% for students in poverty.

Our College Enrollment Rate
Take Stock in Children scholars' college enrollment rate is 71% higher than Florida's average, and amazingly it is 243% higher than their deserving low-income youth/students peer group.

Student Success Stories
Melkevia Ivey was the youngest and the first in her family to go to college. Melkevia’s life changed when she became a Take Stock in Children scholar in the Duval County program. With a mentor and the promise of a scholarship, Melkevia became confident in school and soon discovered her love for numbers and accounting. After she graduated high school, she pursued an accounting degree at Florida A&M University. Melkevia didn’t stop there.
