At Citrus High School, Ashley gained numerous awards in academics and technology: the AP Scholars, AP National Hispanic Recognition Program, AVID Freshman of the Year, Microsoft, and ADOBE certifications. Ashley has volunteered at a dermatology and skin surgery center, and her church choir, and she loves helping the community primary school during their science fairs and judging entries.
Her passion for biology, psychology, and chemistry determined her path to study neuroscience in college and eventually graduate as a medical doctor.
