Dylan Long

  • University of Florida
  • Flagler Palm Coast High School / Flagler County

Dylan holds a 4.0 GPA at Flagler Palm Coast High School and is in the top 10 of his senior class.  While Dylan knows that he will be involved with computer science in college, he is exploring the everchanging field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). He is enthusiastic about maximizing his potential to impact humanity, quite possibly in the field of health sciences.

He has worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Kumon Learning Center and as an intern at the Coastal Cloud. Dylan has also worked at Flagler Palm Coast High in the TV production department for two years and has been a member of the Future Problem Solvers for two years.

In the community, Dylan serves on the Flagler County Public Library Teen Advisory board, pioneering innovative events for youth in the community with six heavily themed Escape Rooms to date. This teen advisory board’s service projects are student-initiated and well-received by all. He also serves the Palm Coast Beautification & Environmental Advisory Committee through the local government to increase the adoption of sustainable technology within his community. Dylan would love to attend the University of Florida next fall.
